Jesus Has Risen

after the sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, mary Magdalene, the other mary, and I went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for angel of the lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men. The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for i know that you are looking for jesus, who was crucified. he is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'he has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.' Now i have told you." So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. "Greetings," he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, "do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me."

Dealing With Sin In The Church

jesus told me that "If your brother or sister sins,go and point out their fault,just between the two of you. If they listen to you,you have won them over. But if they will not listen take one or two others along,so that 'every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.' if they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or tax collector. "truly i tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. "again, truly i tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my father in heaven. for where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."

Jesus Arrested

While Jesus and me were still speaking,Judas,one of my twelve disciples,arrived. With him and i was a large crowd armed with swords and clubs,sent from the chief priests and elders of the people. Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: "the one I kiss is the man;arrest him". Approaching me,Judas said "Greetings,Rabbi!" and kissed me. "Do what you came for,friend." Jesus replied. Then the man stepped forward,seized him then arrested him. With that,I reached for my sword,drew it out and struck the servant of the high priest,cutting of his ear. "Put your sword back in its place" Jesus said to me,"For all who draw the sword will die by the sword. do you think I cannot call on my father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? but how then would the scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?" in that hour Jesus said to the crowd, "am Jesus leading a rebellion, that you have come out with swords and clubs to capture me? every day I sat in the temple courts teaching, and you did not arrest me. but this has all taken place that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled." then all the disciples deserted him and fled.

jesus heals a demon-possesed

when they came to the crowd, I saw a man approached Jesus and he knelt before him. "lord, have mercy on my son," he said. "he has seizures and is suffering greatly. He looked like he often falls into the fire or into the water. I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him." "you unbelieving and perverse generation," Jesus replied, "how long shall I stay with you? how long shall I put up with you? bring the boy here to me." Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment. then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, "why couldn't we drive it out?" he replied, "because you have so little faith. truly i tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'move from here to there,' and it will move. nothing will be impossible for."

jesus feed four thousand

Jesus and me left there and went along the sea of Galilee. then we went up on a mountainside and sat down. great crowds came to us, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute and many others, and laid them at his feet; and he healed them. the people were amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled made well, the lame walking and the blind seeing. and they praised the god of Israel. Jesus and me called his disciples to him and said, "i have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. i do not want to send them away hungry, or they may collapse on the way." his disciples answered, "where could we get enough bread in this remote place to feed such a crowd?" "how many loaves do you have?" Jesus asked to all of us. "seven," they replied, "and a few small fish." he told the crowd to sit down on the ground. then he took the seven loaves and fish, and when he had given thanks, he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and they in turn to people. they all ate and were satisfied. afterward the disciples picked up seven basketful's of broken pieces that were left over. the number of those who ate was four thousand men, besides women and children. after Jesus had sent the crowd away, he got into the boat and went to the vicinity of magadan.

Jesus Heals The Sick

Jesus and me went throughout the Galilee,teaching in their synagogues,proclaiming the good news of the kingdom.,and healing every disease and sickness among the people. News about Jesus spread all over Syria,and people brought me all who were ill with various of diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon possessed those having seizures,and the paralyzed:and Jesus healed them right in front of me and many others. Large crowds from Galilee,the Decapolis,Jerusalem,Judea and the region across the Jordan followed me.
